How to Become a Member
Greenland Housing Co-op is accepting applications for 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units. Applicants must qualify for housing charge subsidy based on household income noted: below $32,400 for 2 bedroom unit; below $37,200 for 3 bedroom unit; and below $39,600 for 4 bedroom unit.
Applicants should be willing to participate in the co-op and volunteer time in the co-op committees. Application forms are available at the co-op website https://greenlandco-op.ca or email the co-op office at firstname.lastname@example.org. This is a non-smoking co-op. Applicants must submit the completed form with the required (non-refundable) application fee.
For applications already received, applicants are contacted and given a date for the next Orientation Meeting that they must attend to be considered for membership.
When applicants are contacted to attend an interview, they are required to provide their most recent tax assessment and three months of current pay stubs. This is to be brought to the interview in a sealed envelope.
All applications will be kept on file for one year. If you wish to be to continue to be considered for membership, you must inform the co-op office in writing.
